SS14 Trends Part I: Ethnic and tribal style

Aunque hasta hoy la primavera no había llegado oficialmente, llevamos unas cuantas semanas palpando el cambio de estación: buen tiempo, las ganas de renovarse, los suplementos de moda de colecciones y con ellos las nuevas tendencias que marcarán nuestro armario en la primavera verano 2014.

Althought spring hadn't come officialy tilll today, we can feel the change of season for days: better weather, will to renew yourself, the summer clothes in our shops and, therefore, the new trends for the new season.

Muchas de las propuestas de los grandes diseñadores en sus desfiles están "nominadas" a ser tendencia, per si queremos saber lo que realmente va a estar de moda y veremos hasta la saciedad en nuestro armario y en la calle, nada como observar detalladamente el catálogo de Zara, el auténtico káiser de la moda, el trendsetter por excelencia. Si algo no se vende en Zara, definitivamente no es trendy.

Many of the suggestions given by the great designers are "nominated" to be trendy but, if we really want to know what will be fashion next season, we have to flipp through Zara web page, the real káiser of fashion, the authentic trendsetter. If somehing is not in Zara, definitely is not trendy.

Así que tras unos días buceando por la web de Zara y los desfiles primavera verano, dedicaré unos cuantos posts a las verdaderas tendencias de la primavera verano 2014.
 
So after some days going through Zara web and all the SS14 fashion shows, I will use several posts to write about the real trends for this season.

1) Estilo étnico y tribal. Ethnic and tribal style.

Estampado navajo, flecos, kaftanes, tonos tierra, piel de serpiente o cocodrilo y print animal principalmente de leopardo y cebra....detalles que nos trasladan directamente de Zara a África.
 
Indian print, tassels, katfanes, ground colours, snake and crocodile skin, animal print mainly of leopard and zebra... details that take us straight from Zara to Africa.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 ZARA

 

Pero ya sabemos que lo que hay en Zara viene dictado por la pasarela y es que en los desfiles de PV 2014 encontramos muchos de estos elementos que nos remiten a un paraíso salvaje y han llegado a inspirar colecciones completas como es el caso de Rodarte o Valentino con sus madonas exóticas.

 

However, we all know that what we find in zara comes from above, as in the SS14 fashion shows we can see so many elements that make us think of a wild Paradise and have inspired complete collections as in the case of Rodarte or Valentino and his exotic madonas.
